Conversations with Turning Point of Lehigh Valley

Conversations with Turning Point of Lehigh Valley In-Person

This event is open to any interested community member age 14 and up. Registration required.

As we age, we naturally become more susceptible to additional mental and physical complications with our health. For aging survivors of abuse in later life, the risk of further abuse, social isolation, neglect, coercive control, and exploitation is even more profound. In this presentation, we highlight the intersection of domestic and intimate partner abuse for survivors in later life, empowering participants with the knowledge to recognize the signs, respond in a trauma-informed manner, and supportively refer aging adults to resources that can help.
