Writers Workshop- Character Building In-Person

Join Angela Ackerman every second Thursday of the month, to explore a new creative writing technique and work on developing your unique writing style! This month we will be learning how to develop and create characters!
This program is designed to inspire creativity and help you hone your storytelling skills. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this workshop provides a supportive space to learn, share, and grow as a writer.
Each meeting includes a brief lesson, a fun writing activity, and time to share your work with the group. Some materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite writing notebook or device.
About your facilitator:
Journalist Angel R. Ackerman covered much of Northampton County and Phillipsburg, N.J., for local print newspapers. Angel Ackerman writes horror fiction with a woman’s touch in her Fashion & Friends series, volume four of which, Road Trip, released May 20, 2024. She is the founder of Parisian Phoenix Publishing, vice president of the Mary Meuser Memorial Library board of trustees, and a three-time (and current) president of the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group.
