Gel Plate Printing Workshop In-Person
Please join us for a gel print workshop with Patricia Porter. Drawing from traditional methods of mono printing, we will get our hands dirty learning the basics of Gel Plate Printing. Gel printing uses a gelatin-like plate as a printing surface. Paint is applied to the plate then paper is pressed onto the plate to transfer the image. The fun of gel plate printing lies in the endless creative possibilities it offers. Participants will experiment with color, texture, and layering techniques to produce colorful, one of a kind prints that can be used for sketchbooks, greeting cards, collage or to frame and decorate the home.
This is free but registration is required and is limited to 10 participants.
